Great welcome from proprietor, always friendly and helpful. Basic facilities but clean and perfectly adequate for a city break - you get what you pay for and I would not hesitate to recommend The Art Mary. Do not be put off by the run down area and the look outside, once you get inside it is an ideal location for a city break.Rooms very clean, good mattress on bed with very clean bedding, plenty of towels, breakfast not huge but enough to start the day. Located at the rear of the Termini station makes it easy to get around via trains or nearby bus and tram stops. Excellent value.

there was an unbelievable smell in the room for our stay (2 days) we had to open windows in cold air but it was hot again inside.

The hotel staff was very friendly and they fixed the shower head the very next day after we reported a fault.

The room was quite small and the water pressure of the building was very bad during peak hours because there are so many rooms and so many different hotels in the same building.

2 mins. walk to Roma Termini. There are many restaurents and a supermarket within or near by Roma Termini. It'd be great for someone who travel with a budget.

There seemed to have some water and heat problem. We stayed there for 4 nights. The first night not enough hot water and the water was a little better than dripping. Bathroom is very small, it's impossible to get fully dressed after shower. There is free internet connection provided, but the connection is extremely bad.

Helpfull and friendly staff and situated near the termini central station. perfect way to explore the city.

Its not a hotel, but a "pension" rooms are very basic with a small bathroom with shower. everything is old and needs refurbishing. Breakfast is nothing. no fresh bread in the morning. please renew the place!!

We were just passing in Rome, so this location was ideal, some 100 meters from the Central Railway Station. This is not a proper hotel, but a "pensione", two flats in a building, 5th floor. The entrance hall of the building is rather uninviting, but the interiors of the pensione are good. The room was little, but convenient and quiet (on the courtyard). Employees are efficient and nice.

Hotels in this area (and in Rome in general) are rather expensive for the quality (we payed 90 euros for one double room).

Art Mary was great. Friendly and helpful staff, very close to the train station, and very clean. We had a wonderful stay.

Convenient location, nearby Termini, bus and metro stations. Clean room and somewhat comfortable. The owner gave us some information concerning our transfer around the city.

Some of the member staff were unfriendly and did not speak English. Also there was a problem with the elevetor (the second day of our stay) and we had to walk up 5 floors in order to reach the hotel. Breakfast was poor.

Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious enough for the budget value customers to which the hotel is oriented to. Although the hotel is near the Termini station you never hear any noise at all so you can rest quite nicely. It is close to all bus lines and metro.

Easy to get to and a large room to accommodate four people

Very close to the termini. The staff are friendly and they have 24hour check in service which is very convenient. The internet is stable too.

The staff had helpful attitude but still could not fix our firdge and bathroom door during our four-day stay.
